Our Manchester City Football Language Programme sees players gain a mixture of practical on-field training and engaging language lessons. Using realistic game scenarios, our coaches work on both your individual techniques and game play, giving players a better understanding of how Manchester City play ‘Beautiful Football’.

FAQs
How long are your football programmes?
Our Development, Performance and Junior language programmes are 5 nights long, we also offer 2 week Football Language Programme for players aged 14-17. Should you wish to extend your child’s stay on any programme, this can be discussed.
How much do your football programmes cost?
Our programmes cost £2115 per week.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
We do request a 20% deposit for our football programmes. You can pay via bank transfer, PayPal or Flywire. The company’s bank details will be provided at the time of booking.
Is your Football Language Programme only suitable for beginners?
Our Football Language Programmes are suitable for beginner and intermediate language speakers. For more advanced English speakers, our Football Development or Football Performance Programmes may be more suitable.
What languages do the coaches on your Football Language Programmes speak?
All the programmes at Manchester City Football Language School are taught in English. For years, we’ve welcomed players from all over the world and many of them do not speak English but are usually able to acclimatise very well to the camp.
What qualifications do your English teachers have?
Our English lessons are delivered by professional language teachers with a minimum CELTA, Trinity TESOL or equivalent qualification.
Will my child train with English players?
No. This program is exclusively for players whose native language is not English. However, your child will have a chance to make friends with English players from our other football programmes during evening activities at the residence.
Will my child be supervised at all times?
Yes, all players on our Football Language Programme are supervised 24/7 – be it by coaches during football training, teachers during language lessons or the Centre Manager (and other staff) when at the residence in the evenings.
Does my child need to do anything before they arrive?
All players will receive access to an online football-themed language placement test which they will need to complete. This will give us an initial indication of their existing English skills, and help us to advise on development areas before the programme starts. Pre-arrival online self-study materials will also be provided, covering football basics on fun interactive software.
